The Father Phil Wallace Tuition Assistance Endowment Fund was established in 2002 through the initial generosity of the Luger Family, for the purpose of creating interest-income that provides tuition assistance to families who cannot afford the full cost of a St. Louise education. The endowment is in honor and memory of Father Phil Wallace - St. Louise Pastor and Pastor Emeritus 1998-2011. Father Phil was a champion of Catholic education, who tirelessly worked at helping all families, regardless of their income, to be able to send their children to a Catholic school.
After many years of generous donations from school parents, St. Louise parishoners, and other supporters who share Father Phil's vision of helping needy families who want their children to receive an excellent education with a Catholic foundation, the endowment fund has now grown to over $2,000,000, creating enough annual interest-income to fund our school community's tuition assistance needs. We need to keep the fund balance at the $2,000,000 level with consistent donations.
Thank you to those who will be supporting the Father Phil Wallace Tuition Assistance Endowment Fund. We will call for these donations during our auction on November 12th.
